My whole life, I was never crafty. It seemed like the whole family could do these amazing things, and I couldn’t even hang curtains. As I got older, I needed an outlet, something to do other than annoy my husband. My dad, always artistic and creative, decided he wanted a fun pass time as well, so we bought some stuff and set up in a spare bedroom. Before long, people were asking us to make things for them and we out grew that tiny spare room. We bought an old construction office trailer, gave it the ol landlord special, and had so many dreams about all the extra space. Then we moved in, and suddenly all that space was crammed.
we obviously needed more things on our calendars, so we dove into craft shows. Everyone dreams of spending hot summer weekends loading and unloading tents and merchandise and sitting in the extreme heat right? In reality, we do kind of enjoy it, not the heat, but the festivals.
We don’t know exactly how far we can go with this adventure, but we enjoy the time together. When you see us at shows, you see me, my dad, my sister, my brother in law, my daughter in law, and my grandkids. The Crazy Crafty Family means just that, FAMILY. This whole business is built around our family. We’ve all discovered new talents, and keep pushing ourselves to learn new crafts. Life is short, and every moment spent with family is priceless.
